Relaxation Massage

All the massage treatment contains one major component i.e., to relax you, then what is new in it? Unlike other massages, relaxation massage primarily focuses on relaxing you with a full-body indulgent and luxurious massage, and aromatherapy with benefit loaded essential oils. Not only this, you will be pampered with slight gentle music and dramatic ambience, adding more towards divine relaxation.

The best thing about relaxation therapy is, you do not have to adopt any position or manoeuvre as you may require in Thai massage. You just have to lay down and leave the rest on our professional massage experts. You can include relaxation therapy in your regular therapy treatment plan.

Mainly three vital techniques are used for relaxation massage: kneading, wringing, effleurage.

Treatment procedure :

​

  • First, during an initial consultation, your therapist does a postural analysis and asks about any muscles that require special attention.

  • Your therapist then leaves the room to allow you to undress in complete privacy.

  • When you are ready, they begin by warming your muscles with light compressions.

  • Then the therapist uses a combination of long gliding strokes, kneading, friction and vibration while regularly checking to ensure that the pressure is adequately firm.

  • As trigger points are located, direct pressure is applied to release them.

  • After the massage, your therapist discusses a self-care plan and recommends follow-up treatments, if necessary.

Precautions :

For undertaking any massage treatment, make sure to inform your therapist about if:

  • You are pregnant or think of may be pregnant

  • You have any medical diseases

  • You are taking medication for any underlying medical problem

  • You have recently undergone surgery or a serious injury

  • You are prone to allergy or allergic to specific things

  • You have sensitive skin, sores or active infection
